The First of the Emperor's Legions and the most powerful amongst their brethren, the Dark Angels Space Marines is held in the highest esteem by their brethren for their countless successes on the battlefield. Yet despite their absolute loyalty to the Golden Throne, the entire chapter harbors a dark secret that stains the honor of their chapter to this day: there exists heretic "Fallen Angels" brothers who turned traitor and joined the forces of Chaos during the Horus Heresy and now blaspheme the Emperor with their very existence.
