Johnson, who graduated honours from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. He opened his own freelance studio in 1994 and by 2000 had converted much of his work to digital design. Over the past 10 years he has concentrated on licensing graphics and staged scenes for jigsaw puzzles and related craft items. Lewis also loves to paint and continues to develop his skills and craft to evoke his passion for drama, colour and detail focusing on wildlife and various landscapes and still life subjects. His preferred mediums are gouache and watercolour with a touch of mixed media. Another craft he is passionate about is photography which has opened up a new world of applications that provide some amazing subject material for new paintings and designs.
