Payment FAQ

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept payment by credit card (3% extra), cash, eftpos, cheque and direct deposit, BPAY.
Please visit the payment options page for more detailed information.

Why is there a 3% surcharge for credit card payments?

The prices listed on our website are the discounted cash price. We felt it only fair that only those customers who choose to pay by credit card incur the extra cost, unlike other stores which will include the surcharge into their everyday prices. Which means everyone pays a higher price whether they use credit card or not.

What's the fastest payment method?

If you are after an item urgently, you should elect to pay by credit card as this eliminates the need to wait for the funds to clear.

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card payment is processed inhouse by a staff member at the time of processing.

Why must I enter my credit card details everytime I order?

For security reasons we do not keep your payment details on record.

Payment Terms

Our payment terms are stricly CBD (Cash before delivery) unless specified otherwise.

Below you can find details on the payment methods accepted currently.

Paying by BPAY

B PAY transactions are protected using high levels of security. As a result, thousands of Australians pay their bills with B PAY every day using the Internet and phone banking services of over 180 banks, building societies and credit unions. B PAY is safe as you are always dealing with your financial institution, not a third party.

You choose between cheque, savings or credit card accounts for payment.

Like other transactions, B PAY payments are traceable. So if you have a problem, simply contact the financial institution where you made the payment.

You don't need to register or sign up to use B PAY .

All you need is to be registered for Internet or phone banking with your financial institution. Then you're ready to pay your bills with B PAY !

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Register for Internet or phone banking at your financial institution, if you haven't already. Find contact details for your financial institution here .
  2. Look for the distinctive B PAY logo on the reverse side of your PDF Order confirmation which would have been emailed to you.

  3. Log onto your Internet banking service or call your phone banking service. Find contact details here.
  4. Select the B PAY or bill payment option and follow the simple instructions.
  5. Wait for and record your receipt number.
  6. Email sales@pcmarket.com.au to advise payment has been made.

Credit Card

We can currently accept MasterCard, VISA, Bankcard and American Express. Payments by credit card incur a 3% surcharge on the total transaction cost.
TIP: You can pay by credit card and avoid the surcharge by using your credit card through BPAY!

No further verification beyond the cardholders signature will be required for customers paying by credit card when picking up.

For On-line despatched orders credit card payment details can be provided securely over the internet, via fax on (02) 9898 3066 or phone (02) 9898 3055. You will need to provide the following information for verification after you have received our order confirmation:

  1. A copy of both sides of the credit card clearly showing the card holders signature
  2. The card holders drivers licence clearly showing the signature and address which must match the billing address.
  3. The card holders signature on the fax

A template for providing the above details will be provided to you with the sales confirmation PDF document.

We understand that some customers are concerned about their privacy and we respect that so if you do not feel confident in providing these identification details please consider using your credit card over BPAY if you have that available to you or one of the other payment methods.

We understand that the above can be inconvenient but due to the large amount of fraudulant transactions being made by credit card we have had to implement the following restrictions on credit card transactions. You will have to send these verification details each time you place an order.

All payment details are processed in-house and are not passed onto any third party companies. Credit card payments are processed at the time of despatch.

Direct Deposit

Payment may be made by electronic deposit directly to our account. Usually over the counter at a Westpac Branch or via customer's internet banking accounts.

Our account details are as follows:

Financial Institution: Westpac Banking Corporation (Lane Cove branch)
Account Name: Friction Networks Pty Ltd
BSB Number: 032 085
Account Number: 18 34 38

After you have made payment, please advise us of payment and if possible provide a deposit receipt. Proof of payment is important to ensure quick processing of your order.

EFTPOS / Cash on Pickup

Payment may be made by EFTPOS or in cash for pickup orders. Please dont bother asking for cash discounts as the listed prices are the discounted cash prices already.

Also keep in mind that the majority of people have transaction and daily limits on their keycard accounts, usually $1000 or $1500.

Flexirent

PCMarket Systems may be rented / leased.

Once you have decided on the computer or office equipment and pricing contact Flexirent Capital Pty Ltd directly on 1800 240 102 to make an application. You can visit their website for more information at http://www.flexirent.com.au

Flexirent will ask you what you will be using the equipment for. This is to determine which is the best product for you – our standard Rental Agreement or our Consumer Lease.

Both products have the same flexibility and benefits, except that a Rental Agreement is suitable for ‘business' customers and payments typically can be claimed as a deduction, whereas the Consumer Lease is more for “personal use” and is covered by the Consumer Credit Code.

Most credit applications take around 10 minutes to complete and then the agreement paperwork is faxed to the store for you to sign.
